Closet Shopping
Seeing that we live all over, all the time, I tend to come home and get excited about things...simple things.
Today I got surprised when I opened my closet and saw the clothes I had totally forgotten about. Some great cardigans, dresses and a couple little odds and ends but enough to make me giddy about shopping in my own closet. Silly I know, but sometimes a new outfit really does make you feel a little better.
So my recommendation for people is to put some clothes that you are unsure about in the back of your closet. Wait at least five months then go shopping. It is like finding treats without spending a dime or going to the store.
On another note we are leaving home in a couple days. I have a little bit of heavy heart about it. being in these walls is comforting and home...home. Yes, when we are at new places we make that home too although it isn't the same. I wish we could fold up our little Ethel and put her in the suitcases with us. Even B, the beagle, knows we are here. He finds his old spots, his comfort zones and just is at home.
Starting a new job on Monday is also looming. I feel like the winds of change are always blowing around me, well us, but I have liked the calm of being home and seeing the winds die down a little bit. Who knows? Every job has taught me something, given my new opportunities, introduced me to new people and shown me skills I have that are great, some need improvement...none the less they are all growing experiences. I just have to look at it that way right?
I am a little scared. Good right?
Oh, and i miss working out...it was really nice having a gym directly a floor below us.
