Failure

HA!

I have mentioned before that I really love to cook. Eating a clean and healthy diet is very important to both Andy and I. Coming home from vacation is always a bonus because we get to get back into the groove of eating our normal diet.  Don't get me wrong, I love to try new restaurants, new foods and tasty little treats. I may love these things but my body does not. I will never be a size 0, or a wafer thin woman. I have hips, thighs, and well, I have curves. I am learning to embrace them and be happy with who I am....it is still hard though.

ANYWAY! Today while preparing my lunches for the next three days at work I decided to try making baked sweet potato chips. Having tried this in college a couple times and failing I thought today may be different...NOPE. Burnt, wafers came from my oven.  Sad. I am not sure what I am doing wrong but it always ends in this similar fashion.

  2. I was thinking the same thing as Deborah. What do you think about soaking them in a little salted water then putting them in the oven on low and slow.
