Excitement

The week is flying by quickly and here is what is going on in my head/life.

One,  Andy and I are headed back to Colorado for a quick weekend trip. We left some things there and are finally in a place where we can take the time to enjoy the trip. We will attempt to ski :( Hopefully there is enough snow for me to even try the bunny hill. You see, I have never been skiing and living in Colorado we didn't have the chance to go....never enough snow. Funny enough there is still no snow. The resort we are staying at looks AMAZING. While there may be no snow we are going to have a blast.....

Two, Colorado is home to one of my all time favorite restaurants. A couple years ago we were on a trip to Colorado Springs...It was my first major use of yelp and I stumbled across the wonderful SHUGAS!!! The food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the people and well everything about this place is amazing. Since eating there the first time we spoke of its grandeur.  When we decided to live in Colorado for 6 weeks we were lucky enough to visit again and it didn't let us down. We met the actual "Shuga" herself. A totally laid back, down-to-earth lady who still works the counter and serves the customers. It is amazing and WE GET TO GO BACK.

Three, Being married to my best friend has so many perks. I find myself laughing all the time. There is this inner giddy-ness I get when I get to see him after work or truly whenever. This past week my husband, my love and I chose a couple photos from our wedding to have made into large canvas prints. The look on his face when we look at photos of that day is one of such love...such admiration. I am super lucky.

Four, Andy and I have been long looking to expand our love of working with pups. Living in a very dog friendly area we have had some positive prospects. Our little P4P met its first STL client last night. Not only did we get to share some of our techniques with a new pup, we met a wonderful lady who invited us to help on the committee to start a local dog park.

Life is good. Evening when the days are dark and sad there is always a silver lining. A smile as I open my eyes in the morning and the calm sound of a heart beat as I fall asleep. Those are the most important things to remember. Yes, work is stressful and hard for me sometimes but I am a very blessed woman. Who ever knew that this is where I would be...The road of life has been well traveled thus far and we are just getting started.
