Crafty little thing?
I don't consider myself to be creative, crafty or any other term that identifies me as such. A long time ago my grandmother taught me how to crochet, followed closely by my mom. Since then intermittently I have made little things here and there. Nothing huge, nothing fantastic...just stuff that took up time while I had some downtime.
Never really giving thought to it I continued this little hobby of mine through college and my current adult life. I have created "capes" for friends, blankets for families, and scarves galore.
Recently it has become more of an excitement and a challenge. I want to learn how to make new things, make them my own and make more. Crazy I know. I look at different patterns and wonder how I can make them interesting. I am not one to count a stitch and for sure am not someone who will un-ravel rows and rows because there is one little mistake. Aren't the mistakes the beauty in things? Aren't mistakes the things that make something unique? There are no two things that I have made that are the same, no two that are similar. One of kind. Hand made and well cared for in the process. That is what you get when you get a RRR from me, Sara Mae.
There is always more ideas in my head, things I am working on and fun things that will come up. Check it out. If anything perks your interest, let me know and I would be happy to create something for you.
