Leonard Nimoy

So you are probably thinking that I am going to write about "Star Trek" or something...Not today...Probably not ever.

It is no secret that I love what I do as a leader with Jamberry. I have been with this company for three and a half years. Yup! Nail stickers got me started and all this time later so much more has happened...

It is August and the theme of the month is "Share Always." So this is where Leonard Nimoy comes into play...

I read this quote this morning and thought about all the "things" that I have that I have been able to share. Yes, I sell a product for a direct sales company. You should too! Truly! If you would have asked me that five years ago I would have rolled my eyes and walked away. The truth is that it is work. It is a job. I have customers, team members, daily tasks, follow up and many other things I have to take care of. AND I love it! Being part of this company has changed my life. For real. CHANGED MY LIFE!

If I think of the top five moments in my life over the past year, the majority of them have something to do with Jamberry. Maybe it was the extra income. Maybe it was the trip I EARNED to the Domincan for Andy and I. Maybe it is the endless laughs and  connections I have made with peers, team members and others. Maybe it is the love I have been given from so many people....Those moments would be replaced with others I am sure, but I get to say I had those because of Jamberry. 

When I first "joined" I thought I would just get a discount here and there when I wanted some pretty nail thingies. I quickly saw the potential and saw that setting small goals made me push myself a little but further. In that time I reached out to friends I had lost touch with and we re-connected. I reached out to "family" that I didn't have a relationship with and now we are part of each others lives. My goals that I would set started to become bigger and bigger. Not only my goals, but I started to grow my team. I watched as my team members paid down debt, bought a fancy coffee, paid for groceries and did things that made them feel empowered. 

The more I shared my story I found myself sharing the product and ultimately the opportunity for others to join me. I am a no pressure kind of lady...Trust me, I have plenty of people that "join for the discount," but I always challenge them to give me three months....What could you share in three months? What more could you have in three months?

My favorite thing to share is the product itself. It allows me to have fantastic nails without going to the salon. No chemicals. No driving. No dry time. Not only those but I LOVE to share it with my friends, strangers and family! I love to get the product on hands! People use it and see how fun, simple and easy it is to use! Trust me we have something for everyone!

Most people think of direct sales as a negative. The picture the random lady knocking on your door selling this months "junk," asking for you to buy things you don't need. I thought of direct sales like this. Not anymore. I buy the everyday things I normally got in a trip to Target from friends and their small businesses. I still am not a "stuff" person so I don't buy things I don't need. We always think "support small business" so why not support the men and women changing their lives with a small direct sales business?

I wouldn't have these connections without getting involved with Jamberry. I wouldn't have been able to share my passion for Jamberry with others. I wouldn't be able to have had my life changed like this without Jamberry.

So the more I share, the more I have.
