A fat fat world
Please don't be offended by the title. Read on and you will understand.
Today I was out running errands. As anyone with children knows it is a time sensitive thing. There is no more wandering the store looking for a possible great deal. No, it is in and out. Done.
I had my days agenda ready. Store, home, nap for the baby, workout, etc. I mentioned in an earlier post that I have been really focusing on health and wellness. No, not a diet. Health. Making sure that Gus sees us being physically active everyday and that what we eat should be fueling our bodies not just empty junk.
So as I was in Target today checking off my list I noticed "WOW, I am super hungry." I then realized like most days, I didn't really eat breakfast. Here it is now 11am and having been up since 7 I am pretty famished. So we headed to the grocery section....Sadly my little guy was ready to leave. We were moments away from an epic melt down... I like any mother calmed him down with a distraction, my wallet.
I figured, "Hey there should be a granola bar or almonds at the check out line."
So we get to the checkout line and I am searching, and searching and searching....NOTHING
Gum, Candy, Chocolate, Chips....THAT'S IT...oh wait....There were also monster drinks, soda and "juice."

Pretty disappointing Target!
I am now home and I enjoyed some almonds and a string cheese.
