This time of year causes chaos and discomfort for many as they crowd the malls and scour the sales trying to find the perfect gift for that special someone.
Over the past few years I have been graced with that special someone. The someone that makes the chaos of the Holidays disappear. There is no pressure to find the perfect gift or anything of the sort. Quite the opposite actually. Tonight as I sit here typing this I am surrounded by a warm and comforting fire and the love and connection with my partner Andy.
On the Eve of a special occasion I am reminded of what is truly important. Being surrounded by calm and laughter. Entertained with smiles and fun. There is no chaos, no running around trying to "tie up loose ends." It is just a normal Friday in Laguna Beach. It just so happens that in the morning there is a big moment in my life.
