Gus and His Bus
So I am going to try something new for the new year. My little man is growing by leaps and bounds. We recently went on a great family vacation and our dear friend came along to help. She mentioned how cute it was that G always has his bus with him wherever we go. As I told her that it is one of his favorite things she mentioned I should write a blog post about "Gus and his bus."
What is my "something new" you ask then? Well I am going to try to write something small once a month about the adventures of G and his bus....Mostly what we are up to and what is happening in his little life.
The bus all started while I was on the hunt for some new pants in Seattle. Gus was being a normal 1 year old and didn't want to participate in shopping....What was he thinking? So I grabbed this little bus off the counter and brought him into the dressing room. He played and laughed at this little yellow school bus for a good ten minutes. The right amount of time for me to try on a couple pairs of pants and figure out which one I was purchasing. When checking out he threw the bus on the counter and started crying when I said we had to leave the bus there....So of course I bought it for him. Since that day it has gone EVERYWHERE with him. New orleans, Saint Louis, Joplin, Ethel, Grand Rapids, and even Mexico have been lucky enough to get a visit from the little bus.
It is incredible to see his little face light up when the bus runs down the hall and when he races it against a boat from my parents or a toy car for Andy's parents. The little bus....and Gus. So stay tuned for future stops of Gus and his bus.
