As I get ready for my last night of three at work I am trying to organize my thought process for the next few days.
Andy and I are headed to STL for a few days to do some work and well, just that. SO....That means I am working tonight and headed to the airport right after my shift.

Before all the hustle and bustle gets going my husband, my love as usual is making sure I am well taken care of.
Eating: I took the adventure of soaking dried beans the other day! I can't believe that I waited this long to try and do it! It was so easy and so much more affordable. I soaked them throughout the day (which is my overnight) and then threw them in a SUPER tasty black bean and lentil soup...Which I am enjoying now. I never think my cooking or baking will turn out good and then occasionally I am surprised. This was REALLY good.  So now of course I am even more obsessed with using the most natural and healthy ingredients. I want to try more things and I guess it is a little odd that I am nervous...but I am. I want to try making home-made wheat bread. Yeesh.

Doing: Packing. My current assignment is pretty unique in that I get a whole hour break! I know, unheard of in nursing. Even more so unheard of, the hospital has a gym! AWESOME! The other night I took my break and worked out for 25 minutes, showered and then ate my dinner. While I pack up my little bag for work (and the trip to STL) I am also packing up some clothes to work out in. It is pretty surreal. Got my running shoes, some clothes and of course comfy clothes to be on the plane in!

Planning: Andy and I are taking advantage of the pacific northwest while we are here. So traveling commences a little bit more. My wonderful husband has planned trips to both Vancouver BC and Seattle. We both have some friends in Seattle and are hoping to meet up with them. I am holding my breath to go to Pikes Market and return to the best sushi place in Vancouver. It is entertaining that while on a contract, traveling we are going to do more traveling and see more people! It makes our downtime in STL and Ethel a bit more relaxing.

Listening: On my drive into work I have been listening to Howard Stern. I know he is crass and obtuse but the balance between him and Robin is pretty awesome. Sometimes the show is super silly and I don't care to listen but mostly he entertains me, makes me laugh and also makes me think.

headed out to work.
