Currently

This used to be something I did all the time.

My "Currently" Posts were simply a quick update of what was happening in the life of the W's.

So here it is.

Currently:

• In February the W's became a family of five. We welcomed our third kiddo, Mae Rose into the world. She is a doll and such a sweet addition to our family. The transition has been interesting and very different from the transition of 0-1 kid or even 1-2. At times I am 100 % overwhelmed and think I can't possibly do this. Other times I feel like super mom and that I finally am more comfortable with my role as a mother.
• A couple things about this round of motherhood
• We would not be able to do it without the community of friends and family that we have been lucky enough to build.
• The willow breast pump is amazing
• Trying to balance three kids and get back into my pre-baby shape is harder than I thought it would be.
• Gus (our oldest) just finished his first year in school. Kindergarten was a HUGE success for him and us as a family. We really see the need for parental involvement in school and have decided that as we progress in his school both Andy and I will be heavily involved.
• Oli finished his first year of pre-school. This experience has really shown us how different our boys are. Gus thrives on being creative. He can sit and be alone with legos or art supplies for hours. Oli though, gets bored and distracted easily and then becomes a little tyrant. Give him something organized with structure and he is solid.
• We ventured on our first family road trip as a family of five the other day. A five our trip took ten....Two hours were being in traffic at the border of the US and Canada though. 
• Since moving to Portland I have been volunteering with Portland Street Medicine and feel like for the first time in my nursing career I am making a difference.
• I also am officially working for Andy's consulting firm- ASW Global Consulting . I have been helping out for years, but 2019 it became official. It is a whole new type of work for me but I like that I get to use many aspects of my previous jobs to do this one. 
• Also, I am in awe of what my husband does. He is so passionate about his business. I want to be more like him all the time. 
• If you read my previous post you may understand that I am attempting to redesign my blog and make a space for me again. 
• I am still madly in love with my partner Andy and I am very honest that I still have a crush on him. 

I feel like that is enough of a mind dump for now!
