Not all trends should be followed
The other night I had a slight panic attack. YUP! It happened. Not over anything that you would normally think but still it happened.
My family and I decided to go to our local "fair" and just walk around for a bit. We live in a cute little community that is full of all ages. A normal walk "downtown" is something like out of a movie...no joke. There is the homemade ice cream shop, the local ACE, the toy store, tons of places to eat and of course a park to play with your kids. Most days you will see little ones playing by the water fountain and sitting in a wagon eating an ice cream cone.
If this upsets you....well it is my blog....
So the other night as we walked around and enjoyed the fair I was shocked and appalled at what all the young girls were wearing. So much so that when we sat down to eat dinner I couldn't eat. Do parents not see what their children are wearing. (Yes I sound old and crazy right now). I would say that 90% of the girls we saw were between the ages of 12-16 and all of them needed a quick change. Since when is it ok for butt cheeks to be showing? Why is it that all young ladies have to constantly be pulling at their shorts because they are so short they are covering nothing? I know that the fashion is super high waste short shorts.....but shouldn't your shorts be longer than underwear? Is there a need to have your tush out and about with a teeny tiny shirt on? PLUS....the biggest shocker is that these were CHILDREN!
Gus saw a couple of these ladies that were pairing their outfits with long cardigans....you can then see no pants and he pointed and said that the "lady was naked."
WHAT??
Sidenotes:
We don't live by the beach.
It was not hot.
We were not going to the gym.
There was not a music video being shot.
