Rant and some Thanks
Ok, so I did it! I completed the 90 day challenge I have mentioned a few times in my past blogs. It was hard, fun and amazing. I am so looking forward to the next 90 days as well. I dreaded taking before photos and measurements and I am so SO glad that I did. We are traveling at the moment so I haven't been able to weigh in and get my final measurements but I know what the photos say. It is amazing!
I can't say thank you enough to Briana from BBM! Not only was she super super open about her own struggles she put everything out there for the world to see. What an inspiration. Everyday I worked out right along with her. I ate healthy (some days could have been better) and I learned a lot!
No I am not going to share my photos. Some things are just for me and myself.
Now the rant portion of this....There is no magical pill, fruit, diet, drink or anything else that will make your body change. I am sorry if this offends some people but the truth is physical activity and eating a balanced diet will change your body. Nothing happens overnight. Man, I wish it did. I wish I could fall asleep and wake up with my dream body and not have to worry about anything. I can't. You can't. Even if you can, you shouldn't. Our bodies need to be healthy on the inside and out. I have learned that everything is a process. There are good days. There are bad days. There are days you will mean well and it just doesn't happen. That is life. Trying to make good decisions everyday is an effort and sometimes I don't want to. I then think what is this doing to not only myself but the people around me? No one is perfect. The art and the learning is in the journey!
I am tired of seeing adds of the new "wonder" anything that makes everything so easy. It isn't easy. It can be fun and as soon as you say it is ok to be fun and a challenge, your outlook will change!
So Cheers to the last 90 days and here's to the next 90!
